The Forest is known by many names, but none truly encapsulate it. Some say it’s filled with dragons. Some say it houses the Fair Folk. Some say there are werewolves. Some say it’s a place of murder.

All these people are correct. And yet also so very wrong.
None of that even scratches the surface.
​
The Forest is the source of everything that humanity doesn’t understand. It’s a place of magic, and mysteries, and holds unimaginable wonders. And it protects those wonders well.
​
After all, who would want to go into a forest that no one has ever come out of?
A good story, no matter the genre, should always have two things: a forest full of secrets, and a protagonist desperate enough to journey inside.

This story has four of them.
The Kingdom of Ravenfyre is plagued by a dragon, who appears in the night and wreaks havoc wherever it may reach. No knight has been able to slay it. Charlotte Everett believes herself to be the exception. And thus, she embarks on a mighty quest into the Enchanted Woods with her sword and her noble steed, to defeat the beast and finally earn her glory.
Lucas Blakesley has been cast into Lycanlieu Forest, after the werewolf hunters that populate his home town discover that he was bitten on the full moon. He has nothing. No food, no spare clothes, not a single way to survive. All he has are his new heightened werewolf senses. And all of those senses are telling him to run.
The people of Beldamby know to be respectful of the Hidden Woods, and of those that reside within. They know that the last thing you should ever do is make a deal with the Fair Folk, especially if you are desperate. But the Fair Folk took something from Minerva Triggs, and she intends to get it back. No matter what it takes.
It’s been one year since the last time Caden Stark saw their best friend. All they know is that he went into Hell Preserve, and then he was never seen again. All he left behind was a small tent covered in blood. The cops have given up, claiming he ran away, but Caden knows better. Someone hurt him, and Caden intends to get revenge.
But what our four protagonists don’t realise is that the world - and the forest - is bigger than they once thought, and when they all meet in the middle, life as they know it changes forever.
